Okay, I swear I don't remember this from my first 2 pregnancies. I've had two cervical checks- after the first one at 39 and 4 I started losing mucus plug (decent sized chunks of yellowish mucus). Poll Checking Cervix

Yesterday morning I woke up with some light bleeding and went to the ER, where my water broke during a cervical check by my on-call OB. I was admitted to the hospital as a high risk patient at 2 PM; admitted as a labor patient at 8:30 PM. My daughter Anne Louisa was born at 33w3d at 11:28 PM last night.

Henry Leonard was born February 21 at 9:20 PM via unplanned cesarean. This is the complete opposite of the birth I had planned, i.e. water birth at home.
